I walked out of the police station a ciggerette in my mouth. They had to let me go. Not enough evidence.  I smiled getting in my car I thought for a moment. Then as my thoughts became clear I started the engine driving straight to my girlfriends house... they same girlfriend who handed me over to the police. I knocked on the front door there were no cars on the drive but hers. No bikes on the lawn I smiled turning around as the door opened "Billy?" I smiled turning to face. The wrong ex girlfriend. "Well hello doll... tell me... my ex and current girlfriend besties now" she stepped out closing the front door "you need to leave" I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth "not gonna happen princess. I watched him drive off as Emilie and Steve walked back in. "Are you two okay" Emilie nodded. "Just bark no bite."
