You and Jack were out for a walk when some girls spotted the two of you and were coming your way. Jack was trying to get away before they reached you, but you pulled him back and told him to be polite and not just run away from his fans.

"Hi! Can we take a picture with you?" one of them asked.

"Sure," you answered nicely. All the girls stopped smiling and gave you a dirty look but were fast to turn their attention back to Jack.

They took the picture, and after that one of the girls muttered "I can't believe she actually thought we wanted a picture with both of them! Like, she's so ugly."

Jacks head shot straight up and he gave her an angry look. "What did you just say?" he questioned with an obviously irritated voice.

The girl turned to her friends and then smiled at Jack. "I said that this was the best thing that could have ever happened to me," she lied.

"Okay, that's not even close to what you said," Jack snapped, and she just gave him another smile, not caring that he caught her lying.

"Yeah, whatever." With that, all the girls started to walk away, giggling about what had just happened.

You just stood there looking at the ground, embarrassed by the one girl's comment about you. You then noticed Jack running up to them, but you still didn't move. From where you were standing, you could see Jack telling the girls off. You couldn't hear what he was saying so that meant that he at least wasn't yelling at them. They nodded at each other and then they all came back to where you were standing. The girls walked up to, you all with their heads down.

"So did you have something to say to y/n?" asked Jack. Nobody said anything but out of the corner of your eye, you could see Jack staring intently at the girl that was rude towards you before.

She looked down and then up again before she spoke up annoyed "I am so very sorry that I disrespected you, y/n. You are a great person who is also, might I add, beautiful. I was only saying those rude things because I am so jealous of you," she said with a monotone voice.
She looked over at Jack that nodded for her to continue. "Please forgive me for being a horrible person towards you, just because you are too talented and precious for this world."

When she was talking, you saw Jack mouth the words along with her. When she was done, Jack motioned for the girls to leave before you got a chance to respond. Then he looked over at you smiling, and you gave him a weird look.

"Good thing she decided to apologize, huh!" he said while the two of you started walking back to his house.

"Yeah, right. You made her say every single word didn't you?" you asked, already knowing the answer.

"What? No, all of the things she said came straight from her heart, I could tell," he said. Because of his acting skills he could've easily pulled the lie off on someone else but of course you didn't believe it.

"As if she would call me 'too talented and precious for this world'," you said, laughing lightly.

You looked over at Jack and saw him cracking a smile too."Yeah, that probably gave me away." With that, he placed his arm over your shoulder, smiling, and then you continued to walk home.
