first 'I love you' - jaeden

• When: 5 months into dating

You and Jaeden had been hanging out all day. You had went to the park, gotten some food, and all around had a lot of fun. You went home to your place afterwards, where you just laid in your bed talking. After a long time of talking, Jaeden had fallen asleep. To pass time, you turned on your television, still looking over at Jaeden every few minutes.

While you were watching tv you heard a thud from behind you. "What the—" you started, turning around to see what had happened. When you looked behind you, you saw your empty bed with Jaeden lying on the floor right next to it with a confused look on his face.

"Are you okay?" you laughed, catching his attention.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine." He got up and sat on the bed, still half asleep, before he started laughing too.

"You are so cute, I love you," you said.
His smile faded and his eyes widened along with yours, as you were surprised by your own words. "I-I uh, I mean—" you choked out, not knowing what to say.

"Damn it," Jaeden said, which caught you off guard. You looked down, embarrassed at what you said and his reaction before he continued.

"I wanted to say it first." You looked up at him to see him smiling warmly at you. You smiled back and attacked him in a big hug.

"I love you, Y/n."

"I love you too, Jae."
