Harry's POV

"I wonder where Nico is," Ron stopped swimming but kept his head above the water, "I don't even think he came out here."

"Yea, do you want to go look for him?" Harry also stopped swimming but kept himself afloat.

The two of them started swimming back to the shore. Harry wasn't completely sure on how he felt about Nico di Angelo but he decided to go back inside the castle to see if he wanted to come outside with them. Like everybody else in the Great Hall, Harry had thought the event that had happened between Nico and the ghosts was very strange, but he seemed like he was friends with the seven other new students, who seemed pretty nice. He kept this to himself then but he was also somewhat curious about the new students that had come to his school. He knew that he wouldn't figure anything out if he didn't do anything.

Harry heard somebody call to him from behind, "Where are you two going? You can't be leaving already." He turned around and saw Percy waving at him and Ron.

Ron explained what they were going inside to do but Harry looked around and saw Percy, Frank, and Leo's worried expressions. He knew that Nico wasn't any normal kid you might meet and quickly forget about, he was somebody who would stay in your mind. "Hey man, you should probably give that guy some space. Even if you do go look for him, be careful to not get too pushy, he's got his own opinions and isn't the most friendliest dude you could meet," Leo told him.

After a few minutes of talking to them, Harry and Ron still wanted to go up to the castle and give it a shot. On their way to the door, they were stopped by Jason and Hazel who got up and said that they would come with, but Jason pulled Hazel aside. He was whispering but Harry was still barley able to hear him say, "You might want to wait here so they don't get too suspicious, but I'll tell you if anything happens." Harry wasn't completely sure who the "they" that Jason was talking about were but knew that it could be him and his friends.

Jason jogged up to them and smiled like nothing had happened. "So we're on a hunt for Nico di Angelo, right?"

"Yea, we were wondering if he'd like to come outside because we're kind of running out of the little time we have left until we all have to start heading back into our rooms," Ron answered.

Harry and Ron opened one of the heavy doors together with a little trouble as Jason opened the other one with ease. He had noticed some of the girls staring at Jason and the other new guys like they were hot models. "You work out?" Harry joked.

"I don't go to the gym or anything but I still think it's important to stay fit. It would be harder to save the world if you couldn't even swing a sword," Jason said and then looked at Harry and Ron's confused looks and quickly added on, "It's an inside joke, forget about it."

The three of them started walking up a flight of stairs to the common room. Ron smiled, he looked proud but also a bit sad, "Well we know a few things about saving the world. Kinda spent the last seven years defending the wizarding world from evil wizards. You should have seen Harry, I bet we'd all be dead right now if it weren't for him." Harry didn't go around telling everybody about his many adventures fighting off bad guys and saving the innocent as much as Ron, and it wasn't like Ron did that often but once in a while, he could be a bit of a showoff. Harry turned his head and saw that Jason was now the one with the confused expression. He had forgotten that the new students hadn't even known about Voldemort, let alone the many years that Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the many other wizards had spent trying to destroy him. "It's a long story, but I can tell you later when you're with your friends so you can all hear at the same time," Harry told him as they got closer to the common room door.

As they were walking, Harry heard one of the of the footsteps falter and turned around to see that Jason had stopped walking. Harry looked forward in the direction that Jason was staring and noticed somebody standing in front of them. "Nico..." Ron whispered. He could have sworn that he wasn't there a few seconds ago but then again, he could have just been hiding in the shadows. Ron continued, "Hey mate, we were just wondering if you wanted to come to the lake with us because we all have to start heading inside soon and we thought that you would want to have some fun on your last day of holiday."
