When Jesus ascended and said go,
He meant you, you and you.
But what are you staring at?
"You" is not me and I already did my part.
To obey is better than sacrifice
That's why I'm calling all believers to have the command sufficed.
Our work needs more hands in the field. But if you'll excuse me sincerely,
God knows I still have a lot of things at hand.
What is that confused look in your eyes?
Are you asking why I may be excused?
I told you before, I already did my part
Why do you force me when I'm already done?
Oh, you want to know what I did?
But, I don't want veneration, God forbid.
So, don't you ever praise me so much.
Though I think you can clap a bunch.
I, once long ago led a person to Christ
Around 11 years, oh 12? 12, is right.
I constantly join bible studies
To make sure they interpret the bible right
I supported the church with my 3-digit tithes
I faithfully attended gatherings punctually
Though I don't find others dressed modestly, unlike me
I worship the Lord with a loud voice
So to silence the tone deaf brethren's noise.
I still have a lot to say but time constrains me
I hope you find yourself encouraged of the good example I had set for you to see
And start to realize that it's time for you to step up.
Move forward, brethren and may the Lord use you like how I wanted the Lord to use me to be on top.
