Men and women walk the earth together, yet true equality has never been achieved
It is almost as if men are given a head start in life, through circumstance or greed
Leaving our female counterparts to work for less pay in the same careers
But I see no sane reason for women to be forced into such austere
After all, if there is truly such a thing as a workplace glass ceiling
Then this invisible barrier isn't just for women to be sealed in
As a ceiling to one is like a platform for another
A roof for a sister, a floor for a brother
But if the men were to smash down
As well as the women from below
Equality could come forth
A societal plateau
