Annabelle's P.O.V.
Rain placed me on his back, no matter how many times I said that he didn't have to. I was still a little dizzy and I was stiff. Guess my theory of getting hurt by werewolves being far worse than a human beating was right.
As we made our way back through the empty hallways to our room, I wonder what will happen. Everyone was in class.
Things are going to be very different tommorow. Things are going to change and probably not in a good way.
Before I could think anymore on the subject, Rain turned the key in the dorm room door. He didn't say anything until we came to the bedroom. He lay me on the bed and sat on the side, his back to me.
"Why didn't you wait for me?" He asked in a strained tone.
"I thought you weren't going to meet me after each class because my leg is better." I said softly.
"Do you want me to come to you after each class?" His voice held hurt.
"It's up to you." I said thinking that I won't be a burden anymore.
He looked at me and I couldn't read the emotions in his eyes. "Yes or no Annabelle, it's your choice."
"I...I want you to." I said hesitantly in a quiet voice.
Before I knew it I was being hugged by Rain.
"You scared me there. I thought you didn't want me around."
I hugged him back even if my ribs protested and kissed him on the cheek. "You don't ever have to worry about that."
"Either do you. Now you need your rest. Would you like a glass of water?"
I nodded and he left the room. I couldn't help but smile.
Who cares if things go really bad here? I have Rain and that's more than I have ever had.
When Rain comes back with the water I drink it quickly, feeling tired.
I lay back on the pillow and let my mind wander as sleep came.

I wake up feeling groggy and am shocked when I look at the clock and it says that it's nine in the evening. I sit up quickly in bed and groan as pain rips through my back.
The memories of what happened earlier rush through my mind.
What am I going to do? Everyone will probably start beating me because of Zane.
They'll think it's ok to hurt me too since someone's already done it. Zane probably won't even be punished. Knowing my luck I will probably be the one that gets punished.
I look around wondering if Rain is in the television area, and if the rest of the boys are there too.
I hope it's only Rain, I don't think I could handle our dorm mates right now. I wonder if they'll hurt m too?
I get up slowly not wanting more pain than necessary. I carefully walk out of the bedroom trying to be as silent as possible.
I go down the short hallway and hear hushed voices as I come to the end of the hall.
I can't make out what's being said so I move closer trying to gauge who's there and what's being said.
Suddenly the low conversation goes completely silent and all I know is that there aren't many people in the room.
"Annabelle, is that you?" Comes the voice of Lucas.
I step into the living area to see Rain and our dorm mates. I wonder what they think of me now?
"Shit Annabelle, that's worse than I thought." Exclaims Daniel.
"Are you ok?" Asks Sam, looking very concerned.
I hesitantly nod my head and make my way over to Rain. He takes me in his arms and sits me on his lap on the sofa.
"Hey, you hungry? I can make you toast." Says Lucas nervously.
"You'll just burn it." Retorts Daniel in a mocking tone.
"I'd like to see you do any better." Replies Lucas.
"Guys I think we all know the both of you can't cook for shit." Says Sam with a smile.
"Like you can say anything Sam." Retorts Daniel.
"Well, at least I never set the toaster on fire." He says looking pointedly at Daniel. "Or electricuted myself with the toaster." He then looks at Lucas.
The two of them start grumbling, probably excuses.
Sam chuckles and I realise that they will treat me the same as always.
"Is that why the toaster is all burnt at the top?" I ask softly. They all laugh, including Rain.
"Hey it wasn't my fault!" Exclaims Daniel, smiling.
"Sure." Says Lucas and Sam sarcastically.
"Do you need to take your medicine now?" Asks Rain looking a little worried.
"Hey, let me see those." Says SAm.
Rain places me gently on the sofa and follows Sam to the kitchen to see what to do with the medicine.
After a minute they came back. "These are for nausea and to help you sleep." Sam states holding up a yellow bottle of pills. "And these are pain killers." Sam says holding up a blue bottle of pills.
He gives them a little shake. "You need to take two of these." He says holding out the yellow bottle. "You only take these pain killers when you're in pain."
Rain hands me the glass of water he's been holding and I quickly swollow the two little pills and wash them back.
"Are you in any pain?" Asks Rain slowly. I can see the worry in his eyes.
"Just the usual." I say.
"So, you are in pain?" Asks Lucas looking at everyone.
"Well, just a little, I guess."
"Ok. You have to take these so" States Sam.
"But I'm fine." I say worriedly. The pain isn't that bad, I've had a lot worse.
"Here." Says Rain as he hands me two pills. "Doctor's orders." He says simply.
I nod and take the pills like the other ones.
"I think you should go to bed now Annabelle. I know you just woke up, but you need your rest." Says Sam sincerely.
I nod already feeling a little tired.
"I'll go with you." Says Rain as he gently wraps a hand around my waist and steers me towards our bedroom.
