Mangosteen X Reader

     One busy day at the casino, Mangosteen was wandering around in the least crowded hallways to get away from the crowd. He happened to pass by Pip and Dot who looked happy together; and that's when he had that thought to himself, "I am incredibly lonely." He sighed sadly then said to himself, "I wish I had a dame to love but I'm too darn shy, and besides, most of the women look like there with fellas of their own." Then out of nowhere a billiard chalk guy appears in front of him and as if he was eavesdropping, he says to him, "if it's true love you want, you need to have patience. And you can't find your lover; it'll hit you when you'll least expect it." And he took off, but Mangosteen had a different idea. "I think I'll ask out one of my lady coworkers and see if they would be interested on a date." So he went to find Pirouletta.

     He looked into the room with the floating parry chips and she was there as expected. He came in and they both said their hellos. "What do you need?" asked Pirouletta. "Actually I was wondering if you interested on a date with me sometime." She replied, "Sorry but no, I don't have time for romance. I have too much on my plate to focus on than to worry about that sort of thing." "Alright then, I'll just get going, see ya later." Mangosteen said as he left the room. Then he asked Madame Martini the same question to which she replied, "Oooo I actually can't... I just started seeing Rumpert Rum (The shot glass guy). And we are off to a pretty good start." "Oh, congratulations for you two. I have to go, I'll see you around." And with that he left the bar.

     Mangosteen is at the billiards room resting on a pool table and is feeling sad. "That's it, I'm going to be alone for the rest of my life so I may as well get used to it." Out of nowhere he hears shouting coming from the craps table which broke him out of his thoughts. He peeks out from the door to see two cup boys; one red and one blue. And behind them he saw a girl with (Hair Color) and (Eye Color) who caught his eyes. He was so taken aback by your appearance his 'mouth' literally dropped to the floor. As soon as his 'mouth' lifted back up to his 'face' he kept staring at you in awe. A blush started to form in his face and his pupils were replaced with hearts. "Oh my gosh, this is too good to be true. She is so pretty, I think I'm in love." Meanwhile with you, you were watching the cup boys with amazement. You were applauding them with the rest of the crowd as they were winning for the 50th time in a row. You realize you feel stiff standing in one spot for an hour and decided to walk around. "Hey Cuphead, hey Mugman, I'm going for a walk." "Ok." The cup brothers replied.

     You saw a door nearby and went in to see what was behind it. It was a billiards room and you loved playing pool as a kid. You hit the white ball and it hit the 8 ball towards the corner. "Ouch!" Then you turned your attention towards it, you saw it was growing big and a face was appearing. You didn't know what to do but you didn't want to be rude so you quietly said hello to him. As he is making eye contact with you he looked so nervous and couldn't stop stuttering when greeting you back. "Um-um-uhhh-h-h-hi..." You tried to break the ice, "So... do you have a name?" "Y-Yeah... It's-it's- M-M-Ma-Mangosteen. What's yours?" "My name is (Your Name)." You answered. "Wow, that's-that's a p-p-pretty n-name. You're so pretty- I MEAN- your gorgeous- I-I-I MEAN- what I meant to say was, er... I love you. NO WAIT A MINUTE!!! I DON'T- NO I DO- I-I-I". You were speechless over his vocabulary. YOU KNEW what was going on and you thought it was really adorable and dorky. "Oh golly! I-I-I think I-I should I- I gotta get outta here!" "WAIT! WAIT!!!" You cried to stop him from leaving. He turned to you; he looked very nervous. You said to him, "I know exactly what is going on." "You...do?" He replied quietly. "Yes, your experiencing love at first sight. But you're new to this feeling, you're also oblivious to romance. I'll tell you what, why don't we start off as friends and see how things go from there." "...okay." As time passed, you two got to know more about each other. His love for you grew more each day and you confessed that you felt the same for him. As the day you two became a couple, the both of you couldn't have been happier.
