Sportacus gazed at the little creature, suspended in mid air happily turning and twisting about like a snake. Violet looked at him from upside down and waved at him with a big smile on her face. he waved back and Stephanie lowered the ring again, "Okay my little acrobat, take a break." she said handing both Violet and Ronan a bottle of water.
"You know, your mother used to dance me in circles when she was younger." Spo told Violet.
Stephanie shook her head at him, knowing where his conversation was going.
"What did you call it again?" Sportacus pretended to think a moment. "Oh! yeah, the bing bang dance. It had a song to it and everything."
Stephanie looked at him as if he were about to be murdered. "The Bing Bang Dance?" Violet asked. "You never told me about that one."
"Because I was a silly little girl back then...and those days are behind me."
"Right behind you, I'm sure." Spo stated with an evil smirk.
"Show us Mommy." Violet was a bit too curious about this new dance her mother never told her about. Stephanie just exhaled and pulled Ziggy up with her, "Why me?"
"If I'm to die of humiliation, I need someone to bury me."
"You are such a drama queen." Zig teased.
She looked over at spo who was grinning ear to ear, "You too, you blue little catfish."
"You still got some spunk in you after all."
"Just shut up and dance."
Stephanie did the dance without singing the song and Spo stopped her, "What about your little song?"
Stephanie smiled at the kids and then looked over at Sportacus who was completely amused,"You do know that I will get you back for this."
"Oh, I know." He winked.
Stephanie closed her eyes and started to sing the silly song, "Bing bang ding aling aling, funny words i sing when I am dancing..."
Ziggy held in a laugh as she carried on with her face turning as pink as her long hair, "Bing Bang ding a ling a ling, silly words that can mean anything."
The embarrassment soon vanished as she felt the same feeling she did when she was dancing with him years ago, she felt free and didn't care that Violet was covering her face to keep from laughing. "So we go up up do the jump move around and clap your hands together."
eventually Ronan and Violet joined in the dancing. "Down down turn around having fun is what its all about!" Without a second thought, Stephanie twirled in Spo's arms and he dipped her, "Oops. wonder what our daughter will think of this." she whispered.
"Old habits die hard my dear."
"Its all your fault." she gave him a good hard pinch in the side and he dropped her onto the practice mats, "OOF!" her back plopped onto the mat and Spo helped her up. Violet looked at the two curiously, something was going on and she didn't know what.
"That had to be the silliest dance i have ever seen my mom do." Violet stated. Steph and Sportacus laughed, "Your mom was my best friend when she lived here years ago."
"That is so cool! why didn't you tell me you two were friends?"
"Well, it is a small town you're bound to be friends with everyone here." she said looking up at Spo with her deep brown eyes.
"Hey there, Steph!" Stingy came in with his two kids and hugged Stephanie.
"Stingy how are you?" she hugged him tight.
"I'm good. Sorry we are late, Amelia and Jackson were making a fuss about coming here yesterday and today they both lost interest. They signed up already and I don't want them to be lazing abut all day so here they are."
"That is perfectly alright. what do they want to do?"
"They said they wanted to dance."
Stephanie looked at Violet, "Vivi, dear. can you ask the twins what kind of dances they would like to learn?" Violet stared at the mean looking two and approached them. Spo watched her, knowing something was wrong.
"Hello. Wat kind of dance do you two want to learn?"
"Oh, please. we are only here to please our dad because he loves your mom so much. Can't imagine why.." Amelia said. No! this would not happen on Violet's turf. No one smarts off to her or say mean things about her mom. "Stingy and Trixie are my aunt and uncle."
"You mean...We're related to you?" she asked with a face of disgust. Violet nodded, she knew they weren't really related but she wanted to milk it as much as possible to irritate the two. "EWW!"
Violet giggled and asked them again, "Now, Since I am a teacher here you will do as I say and you will do it respectfully. What dances would you like to learn?"
"We don't know."
"If you cannot decide, I will choose for you." Violet looked over at Ronan who was snickering at the whole charade, "What do you think Ronan?"
"I think. Jackson should do Ballet and Amelia should do Tap." he giggled.
Sportacus couldnt help but laugh as he heard the four carry on.
"Over my dead body." Jackson said. "Ballet is for girls."
"I beg to differ." Spo said laying a hand on his shoulder. "I took ballet with my sister, its good for strength ad agility." Violet nodded in agreement.
"I don't want to do Ballet."
"Then what will it be? The clock is ticking for both of you."
"What kind of dances do you teach."
"Ballet,Tap, Hip hop, Ballroom, contemporary, and Hula." Violet said as Spo demonstrated what they all looked like.
In the end Amelia chose contemporary, violet hoped that she could dance better than she pronounced the word. Jackson, trying to be cool and quiet chose hip hop.
"Well, I'm so glad you chose those. I can teach you everything."
Amelia rolled her eyes and walked away,"Whatever purple face."
Violet turned to Ronan, "Purple face?" she giggled. "My hair is purple, not my face."
Sportacus came over and gave her a high five, "That was to funny, Violet. nice job."
"Thank you. I used to have bullies in my old school. They were worse than those two, so i know how to handle them."
"Just don't bully them back."
"Why would i want to be a bully?" Violet asked him.
