A/N Back to the canon storyline :D

[Virgil's pov]

"Logan seems nice, doesn't he?" Roman said to me as we walked to our next class. He had all my classes, not by coincidence but because well he had to.

"Yeah, he does Roman" I say. I think Logan is going to be a nice edition to our small rag tag group.

"I wonder if we have any classes with him. Wait no, he has every class with Patton and we don't have any classes with Pat" Roman said.

"Poor Logan. I love Pat, but having every class with him?" Oof, that would be hard. Patton is a lot of. . . um, well positivity.

"It's a lot of puns you have to go through" Roman agreed, laughing. He has a really nice laugh.

"I forgot about the puns" I admit.

"You can't forget about the puns" Roman joked.

We turn the corner and enter the hallway. I hate this hallway, it's so long and empty and he is always here.

"Hey Virg?" Roman said, putting his hand on my shoulder. Which scared me rather than making me feel comforted.

"It'll be okay" He told me, sensing my discomfort.

"Hopefully" I whispered.

"Have a little optimism" Roman said, flashing me one of his sympathetic smiles.

"Oh, I don't think the freak can do that" Someone said behind us. I know exactly who that someone is.

"Fuck" I curse under my breath.

"What? Are you not happy to see me?" He asked, "Why don't you turn around?"

"No, we rather not see your ugly snake face" Roman answers. How is he so confident?

"Your gay asses probably love it" He said.

"No, we actually have standards unlike you" Yes Roman, you tell him. Wait, now he'll be mad. We can't make him mad.

"I don't think it's cold, why are you shaking?" He asked slyly.

"I-I.." I can't even talk to him, I'm so pathetic.

"What's wrong, cat got your tongue?" He asked.

I look at Roman, who was furious, briefly. Then I run. Why I run? (A/N Go read that story by maximumluv2004, it's great) Bullies. Fear. Anxiety.

"Anx, wait up" I hear Roman call out behind me. I keep running, he'll catch up eventually. Sure I ran quickly, but by now Roman oughta know where every bathroom in this school.  I slam the door and let the anxiety consume me.

I hear footsteps, which are distinctly princey's boots, come closer to the stall. At least that's what I think I hear, I'm losing my senses. Also, the ability to breathe. Someone help me,my lungs they burn.

"Anx......help......breathe...one........four" I hear broken words, I think princey is telling me to breathe. I can only cry, making it worse.

"It'll..fine......again.....two.....four" He's counting, right? One breath, in and out. Repeat, two, three, four.

"Great...hold in..." Hold my breathe? I can do that, "one... three...five, six, seven"

I did it, now what? "You're.....amazing...out" Oh, breathing out. "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight" I can hear him properly now.

"Can I come in now?" He asked. I still can't talk, what do I do? Remember our code, Virgil. Right, tap two fingers twice. He notices, I hear him open the door.

"I'm here now Virg, you can open your eyes. May I touch you?" He said. I nod to tell him yes. He gently touched my shoulder and lifted my chin. I open my eyes to look at him.

"T-thanks Princey. I'm s-sorry" I said shakily. Why did I have to stutter? At least, I can talk. Patton would be proud of my slight optimism.

"Don't be sorry Virg. You're making so much progress" He said, smiling down at me. He looked so beautiful. I shouldn't be thinking that.

"Thanks, I'm not sure what I would do without you" I said quietly.

"I don't know what anyone would do without me" He remarked.

"Really Roman?" I playfully hit him on the arm. He pretended to be hurt and it was adorable. No, bad Virgil, don't think that.

"C'mon, let's go to the nurses' office. I'm sure Liam would love to see you again" He joked, offering me a hand up. I take it and we walk to the nurses' office.

You may not notice this, but a lot of people are fighting battles. We may never know them, but they are fight them. You see, we all have our problems. My problem is anxiety,

And Roman is my solution.

It was angsty, but somehow I made it fluffy at the end. I'm so bad at fluff though. Was that even good? Well anyways, thanks for reading. Comment, vote, whatever.
