The next morning Jayden woke up and got out of bed, she walked to the bathroom and started to brush her teeth, she hummed and then tied her hair up.

"Hurry up."

She turned to see Luke

"I'll take as long as I want."

Luke huffed and grabbed her by her arm, she flinched and looked at him with terror in her eyes

"I'm sorry! Please don't.!"

Luke quickly let go and watched as she pulled her arm down and looked to the ground, he stepped closer to her, resulting in her stepping back and sniffling

"Please don't."

"Jayden, I'm sorry, I wasn't going to hurt you."

She nodded slowly and slipped past him, running straight to her room, she sat on the bed and sobbed quietly as she closed her eyes

- flashback -

He walked towards her angrily and grabbed her by her hair, she cried and grabbed at his hand

"Please! I'm sorry it won't happen again!"

He growled and slapped her across the face, he then threw her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach multiple times

She sobbed fiercely and held her stomach, he started to kick her legs and step on them viciously

"Please! It hurts!"

She screamed and shook with fear

"It definitely won't happen again. Not now."

He left the room, leaving Jayden sobbing on the ground.

A couple hours later Jayden got out of her bed and sat at her vanity, she looked into the mirror, her eyes where bloodshot and puffy, she grabbed her makeup and started to apply it, once she was done she sighed and shrugged

"That'll have to do."

She shoved on a sweater and some jeans, she walked downstairs and was faced with Luke, she looked at him, earning a look back from him

"Are you okay Jay?"

She nodded and walked to the kitchen, she poured herself a glass of orange juice and sat at the table
