After that airport scene, dinala niya ako sa pinakamalapit na Starbucks shop at doon nagsimulang magpaliwanag. Ang sabi niya wala naman daw talaga siyang balak pagtaguan ako ng matagal. He thought magkakabalikan na kaming dalawa and he was just the rebound guy. Kaya naman nagtago siya sa kanilang ancestral house sa Batangas. Ang balak niya lang sana ay magpalipas lang ng isang linggo doon at bumalik ng Manila para i-pursue ako –  whether magkakabalikan kami ni Greg or not – ngunit dumating naman ‘yung parents niya kasama ang ilan nilang relatives at napilitan siyang magstay pa roon ng mas matagal. Nalaman kasi ng parents niya na nag-file siya ng indefinite leave so why not stay for the rest of the month and relax? Pagbalik niya ng Manila ay huli na. It was the third day simula ‘nung umalis ako siya nakauwi. Matagal-tagal din daw niyang hinihintay ang pagbalik ko. He even tried to get some information mula kay Ma’am Apple kung kailan talaga ‘yun exact date ng pag-uwi ko ngunit wala siyang nakukuha. He just found out last night na uuwi ako ‘nung i-text siya ni Bee. And then alam niyo na kung anong sumunod na nangyari.

When I asked him if he was with Hanna that time, he denied it. He said, naabutan daw ng secretary niya si Hanna sa loob ng kanyang clinic sa Greenhills. Nang tanungin nito kung anong kailangan ng babae, she said she just want to drop by to inform her na kasama niya si Lee. Na magbabakasyon ito kasama siya and she should tell whenever someone asks for Lee’s whereabouts. Bitch talaga!

A year and a half after that day na sinundo niya ako sa airport, Lee and I decided to tie the knot. I can still remember him saying “Bakit pa natin papatagalin kung alam naman nating hanggang sa huli tayo pa rin?” when I asked him if he was serious.

Who would have thought, ang proposal na inaasam ko kay Greg when we celebrated our fifth anniversary a year and a half ago ay kay Lee ko pala makakamtan? Kay Lee na dati ay hindi ko napapansin dahil laging si Greg ang aking nakikita. Talagang napaka-complicated ng buhay. Hindi mo alam kung ano ang darating at aalis, ang mga mangyayari at hindi. In my case, hindi ko inaasahang I’ll end up with Lee. I always thought Greg was my perfect fairy tale pero I never realized how far from perfect my fairy tale with Greg is.. not until I experienced another fairy tale with Lee.

I can say, Lee is the one for me. He’s my friend, my protector, my jogging buddy, my doctor, my lover, my fiancé and my future husband. Though our relationship is not really easy. We argue about small things but we always asks for each others forgiveness and reconcile before the day ends. It’s not about kung sino ‘yung may kasalanan, siya ‘yung dapat na humingi ng tawad. When you love someone, you will do everything – even lower your pride – para lang magkabati kayo. And that’s how we nailed it. We’re now perfectly happy and bound to be married.

As for Greg, he’s still searching for his it. I have forgiven him almost after Lee and I got together. And now, we’re friends. No more bitterness and no more heartaches, just pure acceptance. I was thinking of trying to hook him up with Hanna but Lee doubt it. Hanna is a wicked bitch, after all.

Hanna, on the other hand, is still a bitter, old, and ugly bitch. She was so hostile when she was around and I just want to slap her. ‘Yung mag-asawang sampal. Buti na lang, everytime she’s around iniisip kong akin si Lee at hindi kanya. Maglaway siya hanggang maubos laway niya. And that’s the sweetest revenge ‘di ba? ‘Yung wala kang ginagawa sa kanya yet nasa sa’yo ang tanging bagay or rather tao na gustong-gusto niya. Now, who’s the poor, little thing sa aming dalawa?
