Chapter 57 Dress Shopping

~A Week Before the Wedding~

Bri:What do you mean you don't have a dress yet? I thought you had a dress

Me:I don't have a wedding dress nor a maternity wedding dress

As you can see I am hung up on a problem here. I didn't get a dress yet for the wedding and that's because I've been so busy between planning this damn wedding and preparing for this baby, that I just forgot.

Now me and Bri have to go dress shopping for me. Ugh this may cost more than a normal because it's maternity. Well might as well get on with it. Prince is gonna stay here with kids and I'm gonna go order my dress.

We drove to the bridal store and started looking through dresses. Dresses here are about expensive as hell.

Bri:Girl if you don't pick out a dress. We've been here forever

Me:No, we've only been here for 20 minutes and I have to pick out the right dress because I'm only gonna where it once

Bri:Oh my damn

Me:Not my damn. My damn isn't gonna save you

She huffed and walked over to the couch and sat down with her arms crossed. I continued to look through the dresses and found one that was completely perfect in every way shape and form.

Me:Bri

Bri:What?

Me:Come

She got up and walked over to me but I never took my eyes off that dress. I was afraid it would disappear if I did.

Me:This is it

Bri:Wow. Your dress is gonna look better then mine

Me:It's so beautiful

Bri:Try it on. It's maternity

I took it off the rack and went into the back. I tried the dress on and it was so beautiful. It showed my baby bump (of course) and I couldn't take my eyes off of it.

A/N:I will try to explain how the dress looks the best I can. Bare with me.

It was a tulle dress which in the best way to describe would be to think of a Vail.

The dress was jewelled at the top and on the straps and the straps had the tulle fabric hanging down the back like a cape and down the side so it looked more like a vest then a cape. All I know I just couldn't leave the room.

Bri:Are you ever coming out?

Me:I'm sorry it's just so beautiful

I walked out and showed Bri the dress. She was in jaw dropping shock.

Bri:Sis, this is beautiful

Me:I know

Bri:You're gonna be more beautiful then me

Me:No I'm not. I believe we look equally beautiful

Bri:No we don't because this dress is damn

I just sighed and looked at Bri, then I looked back at myself in the mirror. My retailer came over and looked at me.

Sara:That is a beautiful dress. Expecting I see

Me:Yes I am

Sara:When are you due?

Me:In two weeks

Sara:Wow when is the wedding

Me:Next week

Sara:Oh. I hope the baby doesn't come early

Me:Oh me too because this wedding has cost a fortune

Sara:Well I believe that you found your dream dress

Me:Yes I love it

Sara:Well will you be picking up the dress?

Me:The day before with wedding which will be the 19th

Sara:So Thursday?

Me:Yes

Sara:Ok take the dress off pay for it and you'll be all set

Me:Ok

I went back to the back and changed back into my normal outfit, then I came back gave her the dress and paid for it.

Just like that wedding; the dress cost a fortune but it was worth it and I know once Prince sees the dress he'll think it's worth it too.

Prince:You spent how much?!

Me:Baby I promise you'll love the dress. It shows off the baby bump quite well too

Prince:Baby I'm spending my last dime into this wedding. This dress is just too much

Me:Really Princeton? I don't plan on getting married again. Plus being pregnant while getting married

I sighed and looked down, then looked back up at him.

Me:Prince I'm sorry. I'm only getting married......One more time for the last time. I just wanted everything to be perfect. If you really want me to take the dress back, then I will. I don't want to but I will

I kissed his forehead and turned around. He grabbed my arm, turned me back around, and looked me in my eyes.

Prince:You can keep the dress. I understand you want everything to be perfect and this the last wedding you're gonna have so go ahead and keep your dream dress

Me:Really?

Prince:Really baby

I smiled, then I leaned in and hugged him. He pulled away and kissed my stomach, then me.

Me:Thank you baby

Prince:You're welcome baby girl

Jasmine:Mommy! Mommy! I saw your dress on your phone. It's beautiful!

Me:Thank you baby

Jac:Yeah mom, you look beautiful in the dress

Jaylen:Yeah dad let her keep the dress. You're gonna love her in it

Prince:I just told her she could. You got my kids going against me now?

Me:No, they did this themselves because they have a good taste in wedding dresses. Now if you don't mind, I have dinner to cook

Prince:No. You stay here and I cook dinner

He walked into the kitchen and I looked at the kids and smiled.

Me:Good job babies

Kids:Your welcome mommy

And with that they ran off. I smiled to myself in accomplishment, then sat down and watched tv.
