As usual.
I wake up. Take a quick bath. And head to my closet to choose what I'm going to wear to college.
I look through my close.
Ugh awful. Too tight. Too big.
I think as I look through my clothes.
Finally I find a cute shirt and some black pants.
I put on my shoes and have a bite of my apple.
So much for a healthy breakfast.
I need to wait for Mila so we can go to college together. I don't want her to be pissed again.
"Morning bitch." She yells as she sees me.
"Morning Mila." I sigh as I take another bite of my apple.
"I'm not going to stay till the end of classes today."
"What! Why?" I ask.
"I have a doctor's appointment. You know. Regular check ups as always." She sighs.
"Oh. Okay."
As we arrive to college time literally flies.
Mila leaves after the fourth period so I just have one more hour to survive by myself before going home.
"Hey there sexy." An obnoxious voice says.
Derek.
"What do you want?" I ask clearly not nicely.
"Why so bitter baby?"
"Never call me that Derek." I say walking away.
"Wait up! Look I just wanted to tell you that I'm going to have a party this Friday and-"
"Not interested." I interrupt him.
"Come on baby! We'll have so much fun an-"
"I think she already told you she wasn't interested." A voice fills my ears.
"And who are you? Her bodyguard."
I see Shawn as he closes the distance between him and Derek. Shawn is so much taller tho so Derek's face is literally hitting Shawn's chest.
"I'm your worst nightmare." He whispers in a dark tone.
His eyes turn black and all I see is Derek apologizing and leaving.
"What the hell was that?" I ask.
"Nobody is allowed to speak to my girl."
"Wha-"
He leaves before I can even finish my sentence.
My girl.
My whole body shivers to the word. As if it directly hits my heart.
Why do I feel like this whenever I see him.
It's like. It's like we're just connected.
I don't know why.
I don't know how.
But I just feel so close to him. Even when we're far away.
Even when he's not around. It's like he's always here. Always next to me.
Am I- am I catching feelings for him?
Is Skylar falling for Shawn or is she still going to go on with her life as if nothing happened?
