As we followed the narrow dirt path we had to dodge branches, and not get pricked with thorns.

"Should we turn back, since it's getting dark?" Ally asked with a little bit of a stutter.

"No, I bought 2 flashing lights just in case," I said taking a red flashlight out of my back pocket.

"And don't you have your phone's with you?" I continued

"I don't have mine," Ally said

"Neither do I," Hunter said.

"You guys suck" I joked as I turned on the flashlight to see what was going.

The second I flipped it on I could have I sworn I seen something hanging in the tree in front of me making me scream and fall back into Levi.

"Skye, are you ok? What is it?" He asked quickly as he had his arms wrapped around my shoulders.

"I-I seen s-somone -h-hanging there" I stuttered

I shined the flashlight back at the area where I saw the person, but no one was hanging there, but an old rope.

"Are you seeing things?" Cole asked coming up next to me

"I could have sworn I seen something there," I said starting to freak out

As we wall continued on walking I noticed a large field, but when we got closer I realized that it was at the bottom of a hill

"What is it?" Hunter asked turning to us

"This path opens to a field, but I can't see from here though, it's too dark," I said leaning on a tree at the edge of the hill

As I started to lean further my foot slipped on a rock sending me tumbling down the hill.

"Skye!!" They yelled

As I rolled I felt roots, rocks, and thorns digging into my body. When I had stopped rolling I was in so much pain, my entire body hurt, and it felt like I couldn't move. Looking up at where I had fallen from I couldn't see anyone standing there.

Where did they go?

As I went to stand a surge of pain swept through my leg knocking me back down, lifting up my now brown jeans I noticed my ankle was swollen and turning purple.

Just great

I quickly started to look for my flashlight, hoping I could use it to find my friends. Sweeping my hands across the grass, something hit my right hand making me freeze, I moved an inch toward the object and felt something hard and plastic. I put my hand on top of it and picked it up, to find my flashlight, covered in my mud from the rain that happened yesterday, and some of the glass was broken, but at least it still worked. Since I couldn't crawl around, I slowly stood up wincing at the pain in my ankle, when I finally stood up I turned on the flashlight to see nothing was around me but open field. I limped forward but quickly stopped when I heard a branch break behind me
