It was the next day and cuppa was making it to 3rd hour. "Hmm,, this is my math class. It should beee-" she paused and looked around before noticing her classroom right next to her "there!" She happily walked in and noticed a boy sitting in the back of the class alone. She went over and sat down beside him. "Hey!" She smiled at him. The boy suddenly looked up in fear. "Oh.. it's just you." He layed his head back down and looked at cuppa. It was toby! "Toby hey, it's nice to see you again! I didn't know you go to this school?" "Yeah.. I'm kinda the quiet kid that barely anyone notices" he whispered which made it hard for cuppa to understand him, along with Toby's tics. "Oh.. I'm sorry" she trailed off, looking at her feet. Toby quietly nodded. "Why are you even here? Your waisting your time.. go find a friend or something" he tried to shoo her off, before the 'bullies' came. "But I did. I'm looking at him right now!" Which made Toby's head tilt up to see her staring at him. "...?" She smiled once again before the teacher came into class and disrupted their chat. Throughout the class cuppa helped Toby with his class work and they soon started talking about themselves which brought them closer somehow. By the time it was 2:00pm school was over and she didn't see toby for about 4 hours after that. She ended up taking her normal way home but noticed the screaming again as she neared the train station. "TOBY!!" She yelled and ran over to help him. The poor boy was in tears on the ground. He had a black eye and blood was running from his nose. Cuppa quickly took out some tissues from her bag and cleaned up Toby's face that ended up in a hug. "Thank you.." his muffled cries came out latching on to her. She softly rubbed Toby's back, easing him down. Soon Toby had calmed down and they made it to the train station together. "So you said your father hits you?" She asked. Toby sadly nodded, "I don't want to go home.. it's the same thing every day.. just pure madness.." he replied. "Well then why don't you stay with me? I mean I have a cat, it's not that hard to take care of her! I bet it won't be that bad with you!" She smiled. "Wait.. what? Really..??" Toby asked shocked. He had only met her yesterday and he didn't think she fully trusts him yet. "Mhmm!" She nodded. "It will be fun!" Toby thought for a moment. "I don't have clothes though.. and a toothbrush." "My brother stayed over recently so I have a bunch of extra stuff you could use. He also left his clothes for some odd reason" she said, getting up. Toby noticed her getting up and saw the train coming close to them. "Come on! Are you coming?" She lend out a hand for him to take.
