"Some Princes don't become Kings,

Even at the best sometimes I'm out of my mind

You only get what you grieve,

Are you smelling that shit?"

Percy P.O.V

The flight back to Belle Reeve was silent; not even Harley said a word. I couldn't tell if it was from shock after meeting the gods, or from the events from the past few days. Hell, if I just learned about my lineage and a whole world of Greek gods and monsters, my brain would need some time to comprehend.

After what felt like eons, the helicopter finally landed, thank the gods. When we got out, Waller and a horde of soldiers escorted us into the dreary prison. As we entered, I noticed a fast moving shadow streaking across the wall, and I knew it didn't belong to any soldier.

We stopped at a large room, where Waller got up on a podium and made a huge speech, thanking us for our service. I tuned out the speech, searching for that shadow. It was either a monster, or a ghost king.

After Waller's speech, (which seemed to last hours,) a group of guards escorted us criminals to our cells. I gave one last look at Colonel Flag, and I could see a light smile on his face; all I could do was return it.

The cell I was placed in was just as dark and gloomy as my one back in New York, but this one was much, much smaller and dirtier. I hated being in such dark, confined spaces; it reminded me too much of Tartarus. After the guard shut the heavy metal door, and I heard his footsteps grow fainter as he walked down the barren, colorless halls, I sighed and flopped onto the very uncomfortable bed. I knew I had to get out of this place. As much as I love Harley and the rest of the squad, I can't stay here; Camp needs me.

As I thought of possible ways to escape this hellhole, a voice startled me out of them.

"Psst. Percy! Over here!"

I turn to the voice to see none other than Nico di Angelo in the darkest corner of the cell.

"Neeks! Oh my gods, what are you doing here?" I exclaim quietly, as I embrace the son of Hades happily.

"I'm getting you out of here, Olympian's orders. The mind wiping is gonna start soon, lets go." he replied. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the cold darkness of the shadows, and the next thing I see is a familiar pine tree.
