Here it is.
I knew it had to come.
Here I stand right outside hell on earth.
Boring High school .
Me being a sophomore it's my worst nightmare,
But for freshman it's the worst reality.
Poor bastards waltzing around not knowing what to expect.

"Its gonna be phat,ph",I turned my head in the direction of the talking and raised an eyebrow,
"Well , gee , thanks for clarifying.
I thought you meant obese",The boys friend said, sarcasm dripping from his lips,
I let out a laugh and continued walking.

I jogged up the stairs and pushed my way into the room I knew all so well,
"Cassie",Kate smiled and hugged me,
"Messner",I referred to her as her second name when I hugged back,
"So much for subtle hellos",I laughed, walking back into the camera almost knocking it over,
"Fuck",I let out whilst I grabbed the camera, stopping it from falling,

I watched as they filmed their little piece they filmed every morning,
"That's right. Principal messner here, wishing you all a happy Friday",I laughed as Mr.Messner pulled off his bear head,
Kate looked mortified but had good ways of hiding it,
The camera lost focus and that's when shit hit the fan.

"I'm trying",Kate's voice echoed through the mic making a screeching sound,
"Fuck!",Scott yelled,
I turned, making eye contact with the freshman and burst out in fits of laughter,

"And that's the morning announcements, have a boring day",I sighed and walked around the freshman,
"That was a disaster",
"That was amazing"
"That was normal",I laughed from behind them making all three jump,
"Where do we sign up",One smiled looking around,
"The first week of school and shits already gone to shit",I sighed looking up at the middle aged man fiddling with buttons on the keyboard,
"He's got that right",I tried making conversation with the three awkward teens,
"Welcome to AV club freshman",I gave a large grin,

"I'm luke",One of the more outgoing boys put out his hand letting me shake,
"I'm Cassie",I introduced,
"That's McQuaid and Tyler",He motioned to the  two boys behind him and began walking towards Kate,
We stood in silence for about five seconds before Tyler croaked out,
"I'm Tyler",He nodded vigorously,
"I know",I laughed at his absentmindedness,
He swallowed giving me the indication he was nervous.

I looked over at Luke who was talking to Kate,
"He has no chance with her",I informed them,
"She's the principals daughter".
They looked over at Luke with wide eyes.

"Well I've got to go..I'll see you again",I smile and walk the opposite way,
"Y-Yeah",McQuaid stuttered whilst Tyler repeated over his words,
"I'm Tyler".

Jesus they're gonna get hell....

"Fancy seeing you here",I say aloud walking towards  Kate's locker,
"Shut up, your making a scene",She laughed looking around at the eyes people were giving you,
"Kate!",Kate and I jumped at the sudden calling,
"Hey, sweetie, was that cool or what?",Mr.Messner gushed out,
"Hey, Mr.Messner",I snorted at his words,
"Hey, Cassidy",He smiled getting my name wrong Once again,
"Dad?",Kate interrupted,
"Yeah?",He replied,
"Can we make a new rule this year?",She asked as I shifted awkwardly,
"Can you not talk to me while I'm at school?",She asked,

I glanced at both of them and took it as my que to leave,
I went to my locker across the hall and grabbed my things before walking to the cafeteria,
I sat at my usual table beside Clara, another friend of mine.
"How's you?",She asked with a mouth full of chicken,
"Me's good, you?",I replied placing my tray down,
"Those guys over there are gonna Get they're ass kicked",She pointed to her right,
I furrowed my eyebrows and turned in the direction she pointed,

I realized the guys she was talking about were Luke and his two other friends who's chips had just been stolen.
I laughed,
"He likes kate",I say smiling,
"What!?",She chocked on the last piece of chicken,
"Oh, speaking of the devil",I chuckle and point towards the table with the three boys where Kate has stopped,

"She is not",Clara adjusted her glasses,
"She is",I took in the sight of Kate speaking with Luke,
"He's a freshman",Clara scrunched up her face in disgust.

Kate was beautiful.
There's no denying that.
But because she was 'The Principals Daughter' everyone instantly kept their distance,
Except of course Clara and I.
And now Luke.

"How's my favorite lesbian?",Kate asked as she plopped down,
"I'm not a lesbian I'm bisexual, there's a difference",I threw a chip at her,
"I discovered the power of the pussy".

"You think I'm some kind of slut!",Emaline, probably the most popular girl in the school yelled from the top of a table,

"No, I know your a slut!",I looked over at the two instantly interested in where this was going,
"Thou has slept with another",I rolled my eyes, realizing it was an act but continued watching Emaline,

Emaline was also beautiful.
A beautiful bitch.

"Untwist thy tongue",She jumped off the table,
"What merchant of deceit hath sold you such untruths!",

"What does that mean?",Clara whispered leaning close so nobody would hear,
"Who has told you these lies",I say and continue to watch,
"In thy sleep when thou didst dream,
Thou didst chirp infidelities!",He yelled,
"What about that?",Clara whispered again,

"I have no idea",I answer,

I laughed watching him fake-stab himself with a butter knife and her soon after pretending to slit her throat.

"That was dramatic",I roll my eyes turning back to Kate,
Everyone clapped as they finished talking,
"Kate",I snapped my fingers , forcing her out of her trance,

I noticed she was staring at Emaline.
Shit this years off to a fucked up start....
