On My Own *G*

'Til the day the darkness was the only light I could see,
I thought I have all I would ever need to survive,
I had friends to be my aid as pillars,
Family to lean on when I hit the ground,
Companions to hold my hand whenever I'm low,
I guess I got what I expected,
I did it all for them expecting nothing in return,
But I never meant they must vanish on grim days.

They waited til they get satisfaction,
They kept waiting for the right time to say goodbye,
Through the thrilling zone I found myself,
Fighting my way up as I gazed up on hypocrites,
No fingers pointed as I was erroneous in choosing,
No Matter how heavy this earth will be,
No Matter how much difficult it will be for me,
I just have to carry on, On My Own.
