Me and Ethan enter Jessica's room where we see her sleeping with machines and other stuff connected to her, the type of stuff that would be connected to a person with a serious condition

"Lung Cancer, stage 3" Ethan says softly

"Did you just say.....cancer?" I ask as he nods, i can tell that he has that sad look on his face

Jessica has always been the sweetheart, dream girl and most popular girl in the school. She's always volunteering in projects and activities including prom a few weeks ago. New students become totally famous thanks to her, not just that but they become prettier, more talented and they look like puberty hit them hard but its all Jess. She even helped Ethan before, he was trying so hard to become the school's photographer and reporter a.k.a the one who handles the school newspaper. If it wasn't for Jess, he would still be trying to get the part

Jessica doesn't deserve this, the school will feel terrible and sad without her. Not just there but almost everywhere, Jessica is also an amazing girl in her neighborhood and even all around the city of LA. Some shops, cafes and restaurants greet her because she is well know for her know kindness

"How long has she had this?" I ask still looking at Jessica feeling very sorry for her

"Over the past month as her mom said, Jess never mentioned about her condition because she was busy trying to help other people but she couldn't find time to help herself. Her mom also said that she didn't use the time she had to get proper medication because she was busy thinking about....."

"About what?" I ask Ethan this time looking at him so he could see that i really want to know what he was about to say

"Not what but who, she's thinking about......Corbyn" my eyes widened, I never thought that this would happen.

I expected that Jessica will be jealous but never this! Never close to death!

Suddenly i feel someone touching my hand, it gave me a startle but i turn around to see that she is waking up

"C-chloe..." Jessica says softly while still holding my hand

"Shhh, Jessica you should rest" i reply

"No Chloe, before i die....i-i would like to ask you a favor. Please......take care of Corbyn, please be the best girlfriend ever, when he holds your hand, hold it tight and when you hug him, make it last a little longer. Make him the happiest guy in the world" She starts to tear up "corbyn was my whole world, i loved him so much. But he belongs to you now, i let him go and he went to you. Chloe please promise me............that you won't do the same mistake as i did" she holds my hand tighter

"Don't worry, you don't have to worry about him" i let go of her hand and walk out of the room with Ethan behind me

Once i was out i immedietly break down in tears

"Chloe... its not your fault" Ethan tries to comfort me but continue on crying

"My fault or not....I gotta do this"

I was about to walk out but then someone comes out of the corner..

Corbyn's POV

I'm here sitting down in front of my ex girlfriend who is in stage 3 of lung cancer

I really did love Jessica and i don't want her to die

"Corbyn...." i turn around to see Jessica's mom "may i talk to you?"

We went to the chapel to pray for Jessica, after that we sat down

"So what do you wanna talk about?" I ask

"I'm here to ask you a favor corbyn, I know that you're now with someone else and that i have no right to ask this but i read that if a person is happy, they live for a longer time" Jessica's mom says as i notice that she's atarting to cry "Please Corbyn, don't leave Jessica"

She holds my arm tight and looks at me begging to stay with Jess "Don't leave my sweet babygirl to die, she doesn't deserve this"

Without saying anything, i walk out of the chapel

I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE CHLOE!

But i don't want Jessica to die either

I turn to the corner of the hall and there i saw....

Chloe?

"Babe? What are you doing here? Ethan you were suppose to bring her home" i say

"Don't worry Besson, i was just leaving" she's crying....but why? She was about to walk past me but i stop her

"Wait, babe! Is there something wrong?"

"No, Jessica needs you. You gotta stay with her" She runs past me

I quickly ran after her and once we were outside i quickly wrap my arms around her

"Chloe No! I don't want to leave you" i say tearing up as well

"Me too Corbyn, i don't want to leave you too but she needs you more" she unwraps my arms around her

"Do you still love me?" I ask

"Yes, I still love you so so sooo much but i have to let you go" we both start crying like crazy "thank you Corbyn Besson for everything"

She runs off and leaves me there crying a river

I continue to run away cause the longer I'm there, the sadder i get
