Zonnique Pullins
It has been two weeks since anyone saw August..but I had to go back to Atlanta,my mom is dying slowly,and today might be her last day on this earth..I brought me and my kids,along with Lourdes and the rest,since Lourdes couldn't travel,we took a road trip..her son is so cute
"Grammy!" Anthony said repeating what my mom said
"Good job,grammy's boy" she smiled
He just clapped his hands
"NiqNiq,baby girl why you not speaking?" she asked
"I have a lot on my mind,mommy" I said
"Spill it" she said sitting a little
"Well,me and August aren't speaking and he hasn't called or texted me for almost three weeks" I said
"Why?" she asked putting Anthony down
"He said he never knew I could sing,and I told him I wasn't planning on telling him..then we got into an argument about trust,and mama you know I have trust issues,I told him I couldn't trust him like used to anymore..then he pulled out a little black box and sat it down then walked out" I told her
"NiqNiq..baby you have to work on things like that" she said
"Not just me,but my son too" I sighed
"King has anger issues,I understand where he comes from" she said
"But ma,you know how hard it has been for me to trust people" I said
"Zonnique,I want you to go see mamaw..I want you to tell her this" she said
"Ok" I said
"Oh,and while your at it..625 south Lever street" she said
"Oh and mama..Im pregnant" I said
"Aww,I hope it's a girl" she smiled
"I love you" I said
"I love you more,Jailee" She smiled
I nodded,then grabbed my sons and went to mamaw's

I went and spoke with Mamaw,she understood..but now I'm at this address she gave me..I knocked on the door
"Yes?" A man said
He had all of my facial features..it was my real father
"Oh my goodness" I put my hand over my mouth
"May I ask who you are?" he asked
"Zonnique Jailee Pullins" I said
He looked at me
"Jai Jai?" he said
I shook my head no
"You left us" I said
"Zonnique,right now is not the best time..take my number and meet up with me" he said
He gave me his number then went back in..I went back in my car with the boys..I couldn't deal,so I just drove the boys to TT Sham's,then drove around

"What do you keep calling me Christopher?" I asked irritated as I walked up to them
"Zonnique.." he trailed off
"Zonnique what?..what do you want?,matter fact let me go talk to my mother" I said
He stopped me
"She died 30 minutes ago,Zonnique" he said
I got out of his grip and walked in there..she was dead,my number one lady was dead,only thing I could do was stare,not cry..but stare
