synopsis
On the planet Gaiara, young women are hired by the royal family to protect and serve the Princess on the basis of how they look. The maidservants must look presentable at all times, and so only beautiful women get picked to serve Princess Xiani Thareen.
That is why Lyanna Rubel believes her only purpose in life is to be pretty. She would have enjoyed that life, if the Princess weren't so cruel to her ladies in waiting.
Lyanna gets exiled from her planet for speaking against her superior. She is forgotten about, unloved, and so she ends up on Sakkar.
It is there that she finds she has a natural gift for the art of creative truth telling. Or as you and I would put it, lying.
She crafts a crazy tale of fantasy, adventure, and royal status. It just so happens that everybody believes her.
