Part 4: Daily Duties - Kind Of 😉

Glory's Point of View
Tell me anywhere I go you will follow, I sang as I flew towards the Healers's Hut. The only thing that could snap me out of singing was of course, Deathbringer. My so called 'bodyguard'. I sighed as Deathbringer touched down onto the platform. I was doing one of my daily duties as Queen. Visiting Kinkajou. I walked inside the hut and smiled. Mangrove was visiting too. He was teaching Kinkajou to read. "Hi Queen Glory! I'm teaching Kinkajou to read." said Mangrove as he picked up another scroll and unrolled it. "Hi Glory! I'm going to learn to read. Mangrove is helping me learn. Maybe Starflight can help me too! Oh my gosh we should do it! I'M SO EXCITED!" cried the dragonet, her scales turning yellow with bubbles of pink swirling through. Her face showed an expression so happy  that I thought she would have fainted from the excitement.

After we visited Kinkajou, we went to check on the NightWing village. Of course the NightWings were fighting. Again. I sighed. I didn't know if I could keep up with being Queen. After all, I did make a better one than Magnificent.

Deathbringer and I landed in the NightWing village, and of course, I saw Preyhunter and Fierceteeth were fighting about something. The usual. Nothing else though. It seemed as though they were always fighting and nothing else happened. I walked over and shouted, "ENOUGH! FIERCETEETH, PREYHUNTER, tell me what happened."

After we dealed with that, it was getting dark. Deathbringer was following me to my hut. Why? Why does he follow me? I'm not special or anything like that. Am I? I mean, I am a Queen of 2 tribes, but..... I tumbled out of the air, which snapped me out of my thoughts. I sighed for the hundredth time. Deathbringer crashed into me and we tumbled onto the platform in front of my hut. I found myself inches away from Deathbringer's snout. We kissed. And I didn't flinch away.

Deathbringer's Point of View
After we kissed, I smiled at Glory. I was surprised that she didn't break away. I guess I charmed her enough to let me kiss her. She smiled back. I put on my smug face and Glory rolled her eyes at me. We were both speechless. She got off of me, and I followed suit. We looked at each other akwardly and heard squealing coming from behind us. We turned around and found that Sunny and Kinkajou were squealing. And I knew why. I grabbed Glory and kissed her again. She still didn't flinch away. More squealing from Kinkajou and Sunny. "AHHHHHHH THEY KISSED MY SHIP HAS SAILED!" "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! AHHHHHHH!" Glory broke away from the kiss and stared at me with her beautiful green eyes. "Well, at least I got away with telling- no actually physically telling you that I loved you. That wasn't hard. You didn't even flinch away." I said, putting on my smug face.
