"I have a new activity for you guys since the bell ringed." Mr. Nunez turns around and I squeal. I hold in my laughter. "But, before we start this new activity I MUST explain the Do-Now question on the board for half the period. (Am I going insane?) I smile. "Why are you smiling?" Fahad asks. "Nothing." I reply. I turn to a page in my workbook that looks like a man. I scream. "Kelly." He says.
(Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit)
"What's the answer?" I whisper to Fahad. "2x + 7." He replies. "Uh I think it's 2x + 7?" I say. "That's right." He says. (Yeah, I definitely knew that.)
Everyone starts packing their bags and putting their workbooks on the counter. "C'mon 710." Mr. Nunez says then pauses. "We still have 1 minute."
We all laugh.
* 3rd period bell rings *
"So I guess Gym is next." I say. "Yeah." Rachel replies. Me and Rachel go with Marina and Tatyanna because, you know, #SquadGoals.
