YOGURT

ANDREW - Before

The first time I spoke to her, was the first week of high school.
Our English teacher wanted us to go round the class and find out a random fact about someone else in the class - preferably someone we didn't already know.
Me being the cocky sod I was, I didn't bother walking round the class.
I just let people migrate towards me.
And they did, asking me random questions that I avoiding answering too deeply.
Then she approached.
"What's your favourite flavour of yogurt?"
"Apricot."
It was the first truly honest answer I'd given, because the question was so impersonal and simple.
"I thought so," She'd mumbled to herself.
"What's your favourite type of chocolate?" I'd asked, thinking I was clever.
"White." She answered.
I quirked my eyebrow at her and nodded my head, like this meant something to me.
"Hmm yes, just what I thought."
She broke out into a smile, then wandered off.
