So I really really love 9 to 5. Its v underrated and SO 👏 GOOD.
A brief summary would be it's set in the 60s late 70s. Its about these three women who all work in this workplace and have a VERY VERY sexist boss, Mr. Hart. (As some were during this time.) The women are Violet, a workin (fed up with the sexist shit) mom(Allison Janney), Doralee, "redneck Barbie" (whole number about her called that, really good actually) and she likes clothes and makeup but she's like, "I CAN STILL BE STRONG YALL SO PLEASE STOP HITTING ON ME MR. BOSS" (Megan Hilty), and Judy who's never worked a day in her life and her husband left her and she's like "IM BREAKING DOWN" for the begining and then at the end she's like, "I CAN STILL CRY AND MEN SUCK" (Stephiane J Block)
So these strong women all get together and go to Judy's house and smoke Judy's son's weed. And they have high dreams about murdering their boss (low key) and go back to work sort of high and Judy puts rat posion accidentally in the boss's coffee. And they end up holding their boss hostsge and wHoOpS #justgirlthings
But it's really good and so underrated I have a boot so pm me if you want it ;)
