We appeared in the normal world with Sweetbeats.
Sunspark and Blue Jay took his dad to the police station while we went looking for Alexander's mom.
The strange demon boy had given me an ear piece to hear him talk.
He told me what to do and how to do it.
"She's not far from you, just a few blocks left."
I smiled and looked at the others "This way!"
They all followed me down the sidewalk.
"Hey! What are your powers!?"
I swallowed "Uh-."
"Tell them that your power is being awesome."
I chuckled "Being awesome! Duh!"
I could hear Sweetbeats laughing for behind me.
But Swift and Psycho looked very unhappy with my answer.
That's when we saw his mom up ahead.
Sweetbeats threw his board in the air and made it turn into a guitar.
Swift shot forward towards her.
"This is your chance to prove yourself! I'll give you more power, just focus on her heart."
I did as he said and focused.
She suddenly fell unconscious, leaving the heroes staring.
"What just happened!?"
I raised my hand "That was me, she's okay though."
Sweetbeats seemed impressed.
"Wow, you've got some cool powers."
I wanted to jump up and down like a small kid.
"He says I'm cool!"
The demon boy sighed "Focus."
It's weird to have someone read my thoughts all the time.
Swift and Psycho took her to the police station while Sweetbeats talked to me.
"Your very powerful... Would you like to join the team?"
I was so excited.
"Me!? I-I'd love to!"
He smiled and put his hand out.
"Welcome to the team."
