the hybrid

Fourteen Years Later

Crystal had learnt to accept her fate that she would always be alone that was until five minutes ago when she bumped into a blonde boy a couple of years older than her but for some reason something made her see this boy as her mate and it was the same for him.

"I-I-I'm Darius" Darius mumbled nervous, Crystal looked at him, he knew she was the hybrid she didn't have to say anything to him. Crystal could tell from the fear that rolled off of him she could tell he was her mate, "I'm not scared of you hybrid and I can feel the sadness roll off of you, I know we are mates. Let's go to mine." he spoke to Crystal again.

She was surprised that someone would invite her, The hybrid back to their place. Crystal was truly in love with this boy.

The first night the boy marked her. He wasn't going to mate with her yet but he knew he would mate with her at some point,Yet he laid there and watched his beautiful mate sleep.

"You are truly a beautiful hybrid, no matter what I will protect you from any danger, you aren't dangerous but the people who want to hurt you are." Darius whispered trying not to stir his sleeping mate.

Darius was so happy that he had found his mate and he could feel Crystal's happiness through their mate bond. The one thing that he knew he had to do soon was to mate with her because once Crystal is marked and mated with him then no one but a human could make her pregnant and he didn't want his mate to go through that pain, he was scared for her but he would never give up on her.

He wanted her but his fear was if she wanted him as well. Hybrids always were confusing, they could sleep with anyone and not be mates with them, but Darius was sure that Crystal felt the same as he did he was sure of it. He was sure his mate loved him back I mean he could feel it through their mate bond and that was the important thing.

The only problem was that it was common for mates to start mating within the first five months of them being mates however Darius just wanted to take things slowly and get to know his mate a little more, just to know what she liked and a little bit about her.

As Crystal stirs a little Darius moves, jogs out the room and down the stairs into the kitchen and starts to cook some food after he cooked the food, plated it up and put it in a warm place he jogged back upstairs into the conjoined bathroom and ran a nice warm bath for his mate he also laid two towels on the side next to the sink and some sexy clothes that he had brought for his mate next to the towels.

"I hope she likes this." He whispers blushing.
