Chapter 5

Rylee's POV

I woke up with Jake's arm around my waist. I looked at the time and decided to go back to sleep cause it was to damn early to be awake. I had just closed my eyes when I felt Jake's grip tighten.

He woke up and looked at the time then groaned.

"Rylee I know you're awake."

I didn't respond which made Jake groan again. He then started kissing down my neck and I woke up instantly.

"I hate you Jake."

"I love you Rylee."

I laughed and gave him a kiss then got up and checked out his back. Looks like he healed up well. I put my hand on his back and he didn't hiss in pain but his back was still warm from the damn scratches. I went and grabbed a ice pack but was stopped by Michael.

"Hey babe."

"Leave me alone Michael."

"Now why would I do that?"

"Cause I will not hesitate to kick your ass."

"Fiesty today aren't we?"

I rolled my eyes and walked around him but he grabbed my arm.

"Oh come babe, let's just have a little fun."

"No let go of me."

When he didn't I screamed for Jake but I was cut off by Michael putting his lips on mine. I started crying as I tried to push him off of me but he wouldn't budge.

Jake's POV

I heard Rylee scream for me but it was soon cut off. I started to panic and I jumped out of bed and ran down to my mate. What I saw pissed me off. Michael was kissing my mate while she tried to get him off. A loud threatening growl came from me which even scared me but it got Michael off.

"Get your paws off of my mate Michael."

"No she's mine not yours."

I mind linked Blake and I heard him running down with Jaydon.

"Rylee!"

"Blake! Jaydon!"

I looked over and saw Jaydon shaking really bad and then launch himself at Michael. Rylee took the chance to run to me and Blake. I hugged her to me as she cried into my chest hugging me to her.

I saw Blake walk to Michael and Jaydon who had Michael pinned to the ground. Blake put his hand on Jaydon's shoulder and told him to come over by me.

"Michael I will not have you disrespect my sister and the future female Beta. But I'm future Alpha so I'll let my dad deal with you."

As if on cue Rylee's dad walked in and looked at Rylee and then at Michael.

"Micheal this is not going unpunished. I will have to sentence you to death."

"What why."

"Don't 'what why' me! You know exactly what happened to Rylee and her brothers before they came here and I adopted them! But you decided to go ahead and mess with her and bring back those awful memories! Now look at her!"

Michael looked over at her and she just put her head in my chest even further. I looked back at him and glared that could kill.

"She is terrified of everyone except her mate and twin! Your lucky if she isn't terrified of Blake and me! Take him to the dungeons before I snap his neck right here."

Blake dragged Michael down to the dungeons while Alpha TC came to make sure she wasn't afraid of him.

"Rylee, your okay now. He isn't going to hurt you ever again okay."

She looked over at him before nodding and giving her dad a hug. I smiled and Blake walked in just to be tackled into a hug by Rylee.

"Well at least she's okay. What happened though Jake?"

"He was kissing her while she was clawing at him trying to get him away. He wouldn't so I had to have her brothers come. Jaydon started shaking uncontrollably and launched himself at him."

"I know you hate Michael but he has a name."

"I know but that doesn't mean I will use it after what happened to Rylee."

"Okay well just let her hang out with Jaydon for a while and she should be good as new."

I nodded and smiled at the alpha before walking over to Rylee. I put my arm around her waist and pulled her into my side.

"I love you Rylee."

"I love you too Jake."

Jaydon then grabbed Rylee's arm and they ran off to go do whatever they do now. I laughed and Blake and I went to go do pack stuff. Actually I just lay on the couch while he does the work.

"I swear that every single time we are supposed to work on pack stuff you are always on this damn couch. Do something like read a book or write a paper do something so I at least know your busy."

"Fine. But Blake does it matter what I read?"

"No as long as it is something to keep you busy."

I smirked and he shook his head making my smirk fall. Damn at least I tried. I pulled out my phone and started to text my sister.

"Get off your phone Jake."

"Why? You said as long as I'm busy."

"Here just read this history book or something."

"But I don't like reading."

"Then go to sleep. Do something so I know your not getting into trouble."

I sighed and grabbed the blanket on the back of the couch and covered up but then looked at Blake.

"Do you got a pillow in here?"

Blake sighed and threw a pillow at me. I caught it and put on the couch laying my head down on it.

"Thanks Blake."

"Yeah sure."

I smiled and closed my eyes hoping to try and get some sleep. I slowly fell asleep but it would've been faster if Rylee we're by my side.

When I woke up I felt sparks on my arm. I opened my eyes and looked down at my sleeping mate in my arms. I was confused. When did she get here? Oh well I put my head in her neck and pulled her to me and closed my eyes again.

I was just about to go back to sleep when someone ran in panicked. I shot up and saw that Rylee did the same.

"What's wrong Jaydon?"

"Rouges are in the territory. Rylee has to fight cause she is our strongest pack warrior."

I looked over at Rylee and saw that she was putting on her black converse. I got up and put my shoes on then ran out the door with Rylee and Jaydon behind me.
