"Morning sweetie," Newt lifted his head, his bleary eyes flitting up to take in his mother.

"Mornin' ," he grogily muttered and sat down on the chair. He didn't have the first class today which meant he had the time to make himself a sandwich without hurrying too much. He munched away on the before said sandwich as he quietly listened to the conversation going on between his family. Dad and mom talked about their jobs, it was kind of all they talked about ninety percent of their time. They'll be gone in five weeks from now, going somewhere for work, and won't be home for about a week.

Kind of boring and exhausting, talking about their jobs all the time, but if it makes them happy, then who is he to complain. His sisters talked about school. Like always, that was what they talked about. That was one of three themes that they constantly talked about, school, Scott and Brett and shopping.

"Kids!" started their mom, "I'm sure you already know about a work related trip we'll be taking soon.
We'll discuss the details later but I'm trusting you to already know who's in charge," They all nodded, Lydia being the oldest it made sense to put her in charge, Newt was the youngest and Cheryl is the middle kid.

"And if you'll throw a party, there's max of thirty people, if anything gets broken it's on debt on your credit card," she warned, eyes narrowing at Newt's two sisters. "Oh, and if you'll have kids coming over then at least buy some condoms,"

Their mother was an open minded person, so talking about sex or Newt's sexual orientation was not really uncomfortable. If they had questions about sex, or anything else they'd usually go to their mother, while their dad was quite uncomfortable talking about any of it. And outside it seemed ridiculous that their mother encouraged them to buy condoms, but she knew she won't be able to survey them 24/7 while they'll be away. Lydia and Cheryl were known be to a bit rebellious, so their mother just asked that if them. To make sure no one got pregnant or with an infection.

"Now that we got all that covered, chop, chop. You guys still have school that starts in thirty minutes!" she said starting to clean the table. They all got up and went their own ways. Newt went to his room and plopped on the bed until it was time for him to go to school.

Newt got down on a bus stop way too early, split decision to walk towards school after he concluded he won't be late. If anything he'll be there way too early. And then he'll have to sit down somewhere and find a way to entertain himself. He had about twenty more minutes before bell will ring for end of the class. And he had about fifteen minutes of walking. Besides it was a rather sunny day, the clouds were it even prettier than if there hadn't been any and Newt just enjoyed the view.

He plugged in his earphones soon after and walked along the path. It was very noisy, since the sidewalk is next to the main road. Newt didn't like much noise, that's where earphones come in. They successfully blocked any unwanted loud noise.

Speaking of unwanted, there goes one of school jocks Jackson Whittemore, and of course that wouldn't be Jackson if he didn't drive a Porsche. Newt didn't know much about him, he knew he played lacrosse with Thomas, Newt shared classes geography with him as well as economics. His only conversation with the guy was when he asked Newt to help him with his homework. Jackson wasn't that much of an asshole towards Newt. But he was an asshole to everyone else, and Newt just didn't like that. Seems like Jackson too didn't have a first class

Newt got to school earlier then expected, later than he would've with a bus but still, so he went to library to finish the math. He had gotten pictures of their last mathematics lection. He was late, nothing out of ordinary, and missed the basics as well as a shit ton of writing. Brenda promised to help him with it later and sent him pictures of what they wrote.

As he was finishing his english essay he heard a pitter patter of footsteps until they rounded around his desk. Newt looked up, irritation at someone for interrupting him quickly disappeared when he spotted Brenda. "Ey' Newt," she greeted sitting down next to him.

He only nodded in a silent greeting just as he finished with writing down what he missed, the handwriting was messy and pretty ugly, even for Newt but oh well. "Maths?" he asked, big eyes catching hers in hope of her explaining what little she could given the time. And Brenda could've never said no to those eyes before, so she nodded and got comfortable.

"Hey Newt," he turned towards her, both of them making their way out of the library, slowly chatting when she cut herself off, "I'd really appreciate my Biology notebook back,"

Newt's quickly nodded his head, feeling sheepish that he almost forgot to return it and started rummaging through his bag. "Uh it's in my locker," he quickly sputtered out. "Okay just bring it to me in the class,"

Newt nodded "Good that,"

"I'll see you then," she waved and parted from him, probably going to the vending machine to grab something to eat in class, the professor was as boring as he was annoying. Newt zipped up his bag after he made sure everything was back in and resumed his path to his locker. Thankfully it wasn't too far from the library.

Before he could open it he felt something twist in his gut. That feeling like someone's watching him. He spun around but found no one suspicious. There were only few girls to his left and some guys heading from the locker room, and some dude that had his nose in the book. Literally.

He ignored the feeling and opened his locker. Then something fell out. He bent over to pick it up. It was a letter. Newt furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Who would leave him a letter? He carefully opened it.

It was a little crumbled and handwriting was messy. But he could still read it:

DO NOT READ IT! JUST DON'T! CHEESY AS FÜCK! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

I TOLD YOU TO NOT READ IT, YOU LITTLE REBEL!!!!!!!!

Dear Newt,

Each day since I saw you, I have adored you more and more.
Nothing in this world could ever compare to your chocolate brown eyes.
You are so fucking precious when you smile, I noticed that you don't do it often.
So I ask myself why?
With that smile you would put any other human to shame.
I've always wondered how come nobody noticed.
Since to this day you still fascinate and inspire me.
You influence me for the better.
I have noticed, many and many times, how clumsy you are...
God I think it's so fucking adorable.
You don't realise, of course, how fascinatingly beautiful you have always been.
So unlock the chains from your heart and let yourself grow like the sweet flower you are...

Love, T

OKAY IT'S OVER. IF YOU'RE STILL HERE AND DID NOT CRINGE OUT OF THE STORY, NOW YOU CAN COUNTINUE READING.

Newt couldn't help but blush like a tomato. It was so sweet for someone to actually do something like this for him. But who could it be? Thomas was first one that came to his mind, but he quickly shook that thought off.

It isn't Thomas, he concluded. Nevertheless he smiled when he lokked at the letter again, then he skipped away to his next class, not even aware of the honey brown eyes that followed his every step.
