"Who was that?" Marc asked. He is so nosey!

"Nobody important." I said trying to walk by him.

"Samantha, seriously what's going on?" Marc grabbed my arm and I winced.

"Nothing Marcus. Let me go." I pulled away from his grasp.

"You are lying. You have done nothing but lie since you have been here. What is it that you are hiding? Who were you on the phone with? First you didn't even want to answer then you hang up after what sounded like a threat." Marc confronted, stepping in front of me.

"I said nothing was wrong. I wasn't talking to anyone worth mentioning. I did not threaten anyone. You need to move out of my way and drop it." I spoke menacingly. He was making it really hard to keep him out of this mess. I gave him a hard look before walking past him.

"I'm going to the bathroom." I said walking off. As soon as I reached the bathroom I locked the door behind me. I slid down to the floor and rested my head against the cool wood. What was I going to do?

Marc's POV

Samantha is so frustrating! She won't tell anyone anything! I walked back to the others in the guest room and sat on the bed.

"What are we going to do?" Missy asked.

"What do you mean?" I looked over at her.

"We all know something is seriously wrong with Sam but she won't tell us. What are we going to do?" She repeated again.

"I don't know. What can we do? She does not like me. She likes you but she still has not told you so what can we do to change that? I want to help her but she wont talk to me!" I sighed in frustration.

"Be patient I guess. I think she likes you in a way but you get on her nerves. I don't think she can hate anyone. I think she hates herself and bottles everything inside." Missy said sadly.

"Maybe. But why would she hate herself?" I wondered.

"That's what we have to figure out. Whatever it is that she is trying to hide is serious. That's all I know." Jasper concluded.

"Where is she?" My mom questioned, coming into the room.

"Bathroom." Missy sighed.

"How is she?" My mom inquired.

"Calmed down but still not saying much." Missy added.

"Well food is ready, so when she comes back, come down and eat." Mom said before leaving.

Samantha's POV

I don't know what to do. How did things go so wrong? If I had of just left last night instead of staying, this wouldn't have happened. I wouldn't have to worry about my friends being in danger. I wouldn't have to worry about when Aaron shows up. Once again, everything is my fault. It would all be better if I had of died that day instead of the others. I took a deep breath and got up. I looked in the mirror. I collected myself and took another breath and walked back to the guest room. When I walked in Missy, Marc, and Jasper looked at me. I can tell I was the topic of their conversation while I was gone. Even better!

"It's time to eat." Jasper informed, walking up to me while Marc and Missy followed. I nodded and we retreated downstairs. As soon as I walked in the kitchen, everyone was looking at me and I wanted to run. I seriously thought about it. Maybe I should. I think Marc sensed what I was planning and he nudged me forward.

"Sammy are you feeling better? I heard you felt bad." Nick ran up to me and hugged me. That made me feel even worse and I felt like crying at the sight of him. I am a horrible person.
