*Akebi's POV*

I opened my eyes and took in my surroundings. I was in a ditch on the side of a road. Great. Standing up I thought about what happened. I couldn't remember anything. I don't know who I am. All I know is that I have white ears and a white tail. I am a neko.

I started walking down the road when I saw a car coming towards me. It stopped and man stepped out. He looked at me and said "Hey are you okay?" I had tears brimming in my eyes as I said "I can't remember anything, I woke up in a ditch and just started walking."

He took my hand and said "Come on I'll take you somewhere." I nod and he led me to the passenger side of the car. As we were driving the man said "My name is Garth by the way. And we need to think of a name for you." I thought for a moment and said "I can't think of a good name." "I can't think of one either that will suit you." Garth replied.

Once we got to a town he pulled into a diner and we walked inside. He ordered us food and people were giving us weird looks but I didn't care I was hungry. After we ate we went back to the car and drove to a motel. It was small but I didn't mind. Garth paid for a room and we went there. When I walked in he said "You can have the bathroom first. Here are some clothes you can wear after." He handed me a shirt and some sweat pants. I thanked him and went to the bathroom.

I took a shower and put on the clothes. When I was done Garth went in next. I sat on one of the beds and waiting until he was done. He came out of the bathroom and said "So do you want to go to bed then?" I nodded and got under the blankets. He sat down on the bed next to me and said "I thought of a name for you. Do you want to hear it?" I nodded and he said "How about Akebi?" I smiled and said "I like that name and thank you for doing this for me." "No problem Akebi."

Sorry that this was so short I couldn't think of anything to write.
