Nothing is wrong

We leant against the wall,
The pole separating us two.
You looked over at me,
As I looked over at you.

We exchange a few words,
But nothing else is said.
Then we both looked away,
Looking up and ahead.

Your sister comes over,
Making the awkward silence disappear.
But we both know,
That the awkward tension is always here.

You grab your bag and leave,
Dismissing me like nothing is wrong.
But you can't make up,
For the evil things that you've done.
