Usually a Haiku is used to describe nature...

(example)

Cruel autumn wind

Cutting to the very bones

Of my poor scarecrow

Mirror-pond of stars;

Suddenly a summer shower

Dimples the water

Haikus consist of a strict syllable form and are very hard to write. That is why this is a challenge for all of you.

For us over at Paranormal, a haunted house is as much a part of nature as a dead tree and a floating spirit.

So the challenge for today is to write a Haiku, describing a haunted place-- be it a manor, a house, a palace, forest, or any place you can think of that exists on the paranormal plane
