like my eyes,
the sun lost it's light,
while the stars faded and fell
into the drowning world.
as the moon's craters deepened and flaked away,
i also was losing myself.
i sat back with a tearful gaze.
our love became a distant memory,
just as the clouds rained
themselves into nothingness;
now becoming a pool
for the fearful stars.
and like this world,
i collapsed.
