"So, I've been thinking-" Taehyung began, only to be cut off with Jungguk's snort.

"And it only took you what, sixteen years to figure out how to do that?"

"Shut up!" Taehyung shot back, shoving his companion in the shoulder and making him bump into Namjoon, who flailed and almost took all three of them down.

"HEY! Settle the fuck down you stupid shits!" Yoongi shouted, turning around and walking backwards for a few steps just so that he could glare at all three of them. Namjoon sent him a wounded look.

"But I didn't do anything!"

"You wore those pants," Yoongi muttered back, turning to keep walking straight despite Namjoon's sputtered complaints.

Clearing his throat, Taehyung went back to what he was trying to say earlier. "So, I've been thinking, and it's been almost a whole day since the school went to shit."

"We know, we were there." Jungguk deadpanned, turning to send Taehyung an 'are you stupid' look before he grabbed Namjoon by the elbow and steered him around a pothole. They were in the suburbs, all the cars were either parked, abandoned on the side of the road, or they were stuck in traffic in the main roads of Seoul because everyone panicked and tried leaving town, only to be eaten or turned into a zombie.

Instead of arguing, Taehyung settled for sticking his tongue out at Jungguk. "I meant that we should look for other survivors. We obviously need like, at least one girl if we're gonna survive after the zombie apocalypse."

Jungguk laughed. "As if you'd know what to do with a pussy."

Taehyung flushed. "Shut it kid! You're too young to talk about the thing you came out of!!"

"Did you just call my mom a thing?"

"Would you like me to call her a cunt?"

Ahead of them all, Yoongi sighed and wondered if walking further toward the center of town to find a pharmacy for his headache was worth the risk of running into a horde of zombies.

"Oh my god, you two are so gay." Namjoon said and Yoongi paused in his walking to look at the gangly blonde.

Apparently Taehyung and Jungguk were doing the same, because Namjoon's face turned from bored, to shocked and then a little sheepish. "Did I say that aloud?" He asked, only to flush and shut his mouth when all three of his companions nodded.

"...Well, he aint' wrong." Yoongi agreed slowly, making Taehyung and Jungguk protest and complain even more than before.

Shaking his head and tuning out the new additions to their group, Namjoon tilted his head back and gazed at the sky. The familiar eggshell blue he saw everyday was slowly fading into a golden light. The sunset had yet to approach, but the shadows between the houses were growing longer and the air had finally cooled down enough to make walking more comfortable. As far as they had come between the seemingly endless rows of houses, it was surprisingly quiet, in fact, it almost seemed empty...

A sharp inhale, less a gasp and more a wary breath had Namjoon snapping out of his thoughts and absently bumping into the broad back of their youngest companion, Jungguk.

Immediately sensing that something was up, both Taehyung and Yoongi slowed to a stop as well and glanced at Jungguk in surprise. Without saying anything, the maknae continued staring ahead at a house with clean white siding and yellow trimmed windows with a bright robin's egg blue roof. It looked like something out a of a kid's drawing and definitely appeared out of a place in the neighborhood of tasteful cream, beige, and grey houses crowding the area.
