"Puff your chest out nerd!"Richie huffed into Eddie's ear as he began to walk towards his crush
"Chest, out"Eddie mumbled
"Not that far out"Richie grumbled
"Richie look she's/he's there-"
"You've been staring at her/him since lunch started."Richie said blankly making Eddie wince, "that's a better posture"
"Good"
"Now say hi"
"Hello."
"Huh? Oh hey Eddie"You smiled cutely causing his heart to hammer
"Now repeat after me!"Richie grinned
Eddie nodded with an awkward smile.
"Did you need anything?"You looked in confusion
"No, I just wanted to say you look sexy "Richie mumbled
"No I just wanted to say- WAIT I CANT SAY THAT!"
"Repeat after me Eddie."Richie grumbled
You blinked at his volume standing from your spot putting a hand on his shoulder, his cheeks lighting up.
"Are you okay?"
He swiped his hair over the earpiece, "I just wanted to say you look sexy"
"Oh- thank you Eddie"You looked down blushing awkwardly
"Okay now, 'you know (Y/N) you and I should hang out sometime'"
"You know (Y/N) you and I should hang out sometime...."He repeated robotically
"LIKE A HUMAN PLEASE!"Richie yelped
The noise echoed from a bush where students crowed in confusion, the flustered Richie hiding further in the darkness.
"I guess, are you sure your okay? Are you sick?"You asked again
"Confident. Confident smile."
Eddie smiled charmingly.
"Remember, your not scared about your own death Eds!"
"But I am"He whispered through his teeth
"What was that?"You worried
"I'm fine"He grinned
"Not anymore! So did you wanna get drinks after school?"
"So did you wanna get drinks after school?"Eddie asked confidently
"Sure- but Richie's not invited"You laughed as Richie waved from the bush
"Wha-"
"I know that was him, when would you call me sexy"You chuckled, "he hasn't got a girlfriend"
"That's right-"
"So why were you trusting him?"You grinned childlishly
"RICHIE TOZIER!"He yelped as a Hawaiian shirt dashed around the corner
"I'll see you a-after school"Eddie smiled
"Yep"
"Kiss her hand!"Richie's voice interrupted
Eddie kissed your hand before he noticed what just happened, running off after his friend as you laughed with red cheeks.
