A Reason to Live

If life was a play

I'm not much of an actor but
What if life was a play and
I was the director ?
I would know how to start and end it.
I would give myself all the credit.

If life was a play ,
Then I would choose my characters,
Control them with my own written script ,
If I didn't like any part of it ,
I would say "cut !"
Then they'd have to repeat it .

I must admit ,
I'd be bias .
All my characters would
be good but that would be ,
A boring play .

So I'd have to include ,
Some evil characters .
Anyways !
I'd still be manipulating them ,
After all !
It would be my play .

Remember I said If,
So life is not a play .
It has a start and an end ,
Though one can't predict its trend.
I thank God ...
He's the only one who controls life
It's more than a play.
