Bailey and I were at Disneyland the night before her birthday

I had planned to propose the moment the clock struck midnight signaling Bailey's birthday on the 24th

I still haven't figured out what to say when I ask her

I already told some of the employees about the proposal so they were literally waiting on me

"Kenny let's take a picture in front of the picture with all the lights" Bailey said to me

"Sure"

I looked around and saw an employee dressed as Miguel from Coco and I asked him the take our picture which he agreed to

He gave me back my phone but I couldn't help but notice the guitar he was carrying

"Hey is that 🎸 guitar real?" I asked which he nodded "Can I borrow it for a minute?"

Miguel gave me the guitar and I started to test out the strings

"Kenny what are you doing?" Bailey asked me

"Just wait"

I got down on one knee and pulled a small box from my pocket and I think everyone knows what this means

"Bailey, it has been 7 almost 8 years now since that day that we met in Matt's class. So many times we all hear the same advice, you will know when the person you have found THE one.. its funny, before you see and feel it for yourself, it's impossible to imagine how that can even be possible ... but its true, something happens in a flash of a moment, when your mind is unable to take over and your whole body just lets you know that its ok... this person is finally THE ONE. Well... that is how I feel about you, I know I should probably be telling you all these deep, heartfelt feelings of mine over a romantic dinner I have slaved over for the better most part of the afternoon and evening, but here I am ... At Disneyland, the most magical place in the world. Thus, I believe it would be best if we were no longer boyfriend and girlfriend but rather husband and wife... Will you marry me?" I managed to stumble out

"Yes! Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!!" Bailey said as she hugged me and everyone around started to clap for us

The following morning

I wake up and see Kenny lying next to me so I grabbed my phone to check the time only to be bombarded by sooo many notifications and messages

But I knew exactly why

I looked down at my Amethyst engagement ring (my birthstone) that Kenny had given to me last night on my birthday
Literally at midnight

It was honesty magical... Being with the one you love at Disneyland on your birthday and getting proposed to as well is more than I could ever ask for
