Can't keep running

I can't run from them
Because I'm always a step behind
And the worst part is
I'm trapped in my own mind

The voices in my head
Are like an ocean in which I drown
And ever time they speak
I end up breaking down

Stop asking if I'm okay!
I'm just tired of lying
The end is near
And I can't keep trying

I'm closer to giving up
And I think I'm going to quit
Some people fear death
And others pray for it...
