Silently Screaming

Fake smiles

Everyone thinks she's okay
But no one sees how she has lied
Her smile seems so real
But it's scary what a smile can hide

The scars on her arms
And the tears in her eye
Are all covered up
With this non verbal lie

Always surrounded by "friends"
Yet always alone
Sitting in her house
That doesn't feel like home

She doesn't know how it happened
It's like she lost her mind
But she only lost her pieces
That'll come back in time
