31. Yes!

Prom was only 2 weeks away and no one had asked you to prom. Well you only had one guy that you really wanted to go with your crush Cai Xukun.

You hear a bunch of commotion from the field, so you walk over to the field, holding onto the straps of your bag. 

You see your friend Xinyi and Zhu Zhengting (friend’s crush) standing there hand in hand. Behind them is a huge sign that says ‘PROM?’ You run towards a crowd that has formed and stand around them. There’s confetti all over the ground, and you can hear music playing. You spot Xukun in the crowd, he’s standing their smiling at his friend proudly. You find yourself staring at him, and your eyes accidentally touch, so you turn your head quickly, your stomach exploding from butterflies. 

You hear a loud “YES!” from Xinyi as she accepts Zheng’s promposal. You keep looking at Xukun every now and then, just admiring him from afar. Xinyi runs towards you jumping, with a huge smile plastered on her face.

“Oh my god!” she shouts, “Was that real? Was I Dreaming?”

“That was so romantic and cute! YOUR GOING TO PROM WITH ZHU ZHENGTING!” you shout, and she starts jumping up and down smiling happily. You feel a light tap on your shoulder, and turn around to see Xukun standing their. Your so surprised you nearly trip over yourself, Xukun catches you from falling. He laughs.

“Thank you,” you laugh nervously.

“Soo.. has anyone asked you to prom yet?”

“No,” you say with a smile.

“That’s a surprise, I thought you would have had billions of guys asking you.”

“Really? Nope. What about you?” you ask surprise.

“No, I’m planning on asking someone though,” he says with a grin.

“Oh…okay, cool,” you say nervously, looking down at the ground. Your disappointed that he’s going to ask someone else. You had all this hope that maybe Xukun was going to ask you. But he’s not going to.

“I know this isn’t big or anything, but…will you go to prom with me?” you look up at Xukun for a second with a shocked look on your face.

“What?”

“Will you go to prom with me?” he repeats, its that gorgeous smile.

“YES! Off course I’ll go to prom with you!” you say giving him a hug, then back away nervously backing away realising what you just did. But he just smiles at you, then leans in and gives you a kiss.

“Pick you up at 8?”

“Yes,” you say with your cheeks bright red.
