In Hiding

A secret hidden outside of home.
A secret hidden where I harbour a soul.
A secret that everyone knows,
except the one whose most close.

The one whose wife gave birth to me.
The one that helped her raise me from then on.
I have a part of me he doesn't know,
That he doesn't know about his oldest son.

What he considers unholy,
Is what I consider to be me.
What he didn't want to see me as,
Is what I turned out to be.

I can never share with him,
the ones I love and lust for.
I guess I'll keep it to myself,
And keep fighting my spiritual war.
