It was probably around midnight when a noise was heard from the kitchen. Logan sighed as he woke up, realizing that he'd have to go down to see what had happened. He was surprised that Roman hadn't pushed past him, with his samurai sword drawn, to get to the bottom of the loud noise. That was until Logan opened the door.

Sitting at the table, was Roman, looking like a complete mess, with an open pint of ice cream. Before the logical side could do anything, the prince looked up at him with widened eyes, probably red from crying.

"Roman...? Are you okay?" Logan asked, concerned.
"What do you think?" Roman sighed.
"Well, you look unkempt, you're eating a pint of ice cream and you haven't used any of your insulting nicknames for me yet. In fact, you haven't used any all day."

Without saying anything, Roman started to head out of the kitchen, taking the ice cream with him. He avoided Logan's gaze as he made his way to the door.

"Roman, look. If there's any way I can help, I'll try my best to-"
"Logan, do you think I'm a nuisance?"
"What?" Logan was not expecting Roman to ask that.
"Am I?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Logan asked. "I'm not good with dealing with feelings and that is basically what we're getting pulled into."
Roman looked up at Logan. "Don't tell me what I want to hear. Just the cold truth! Just tell me if I'm actually doing everything wrong!"

"Come here..." Logan gestured to the table he was standing at before sitting down. Roman reluctantly made his way over and sat down across from the other side.
"I'm sorry... if I've been making you feel that way." Logan said. "We do clash constantly but that doesn't mean I think you're a nuisance. If anyone should be asking for advice on how to be better and more likable, I should be asking you."

Roman looked at Logan shocked. "Logan, you are already liked, no. You're already loved and either way, I'm probably the wrong person to give advice about being liked. Why do you think you're not good enough?"

Logan sighed. "It was the whole situation with Deceit. He made me feel belittled and manipulated all of us. I don't think I've gotten over that."

Roman was silent for a few seconds, not knowing how to respond. After a few seconds, he pushed the pint of ice cream towards the middle of the table and grabbed two spoons. He slid one over to Logan.

"Try it." The creative side said. "It's really helpful in situations like this."
The logical side reluctantly dug his spoon into the cold desert and tried some of it.
"Wow." Logan sighed. "I do feel sort of better."
"It usually works." Roman smiled slightly but it wasn't because he felt completely better.

"You're loved as well, Roman." Logan said. "Don't argue about that, it's true. I said this earlier but just because we don't agree on most things does not mean that I don't like you. We probably could fight less but it's mostly a left brain, right brain situation between us."

"You're right about not fighting as much." Roman sighed. "Also, thanks for talking with me about this, Lo." He walked over to Logan and hugged him. Logan did not pull away but instead he quickly got used to the feeling and hugged back.
"Glad I could help."
