We met again, only this time it did not feel quit so coincidental. It was yet another rainy day so here I was at the bookstore. I was sitting in my usual spot, but this time it was different. You were no longer another face. I looked up from my book, only this time I didn't just see your almond colored eyes. I saw you. I saw you make your way over to me and take a seat. Quietly you stared never taking your eyes off. It was as if you were waiting. "You don't have to be nervous. I don't bite. Well, that is not technically true. I do bit food, but then again so do you." To finish off your odd ramble of nothingness you gave me a crooked smile, showing a small glint of white.

"Do you need something?" I asked boldly. It surprised even me. Who knew I had it in me?

"No, I'm just curious."

"About what?"

"About you." I felt my heart skip two whole beats, maybe more. You were different than I expected, and yet you were exactly who I thought you'd be.
