(Topic- My Gear and my experiences wearing gear)

For anyone who doesn't know what 'gear' is It is something that some Therians and Otherkin wear to feel more connected to there theriotype or kintype. Well, that's my definition of it at least.

I don't have that much gear right now but I plan on getting more eventually. I don't have pictures of me wearing them at the moment, but when I do I will add them on here. Currently, I have two tails. A black fox tail that's about 14 inches, it was my first tail that one my therian friend's bought for me. My second tail is a golden island fox tail that's about 16 inches maybe a little longer. I also have a plain black dog collar, sadly I don't have any tags or anything on it yet.

My dad knows about the tails, and he lets me wear them just not when I'm around him in public. My dad doesn't know that I have a collar, and if he found it I would just say that I found it while walking around the park. My dad doesn't really like to question things so he wouldn't really question it.

I don't really wear my collar, but it feels nice to have it. I wear my tails in public, but I can't wear them in school. I did for about a week before the school said I can't. They were against the dress code but I looked and the dress code said nothing about that. I didn't put up a fight though because there was no point. So I just stopped wearing my tail to school.

I don't get that many negative things when I wear my tails. Except for "Why are you wearing a tail?" And weird stares, but I don't really care what people think. I'm going to be myself no matter what.
