Afraid

Fighting against an alpha was hard. Fighting against an angry alpha was harder. But if your really determined to destroy the 'alpha' that hurt your mate, then you might have a chance.

I am determined and angry at the alpha for knocking my mate out. All adrenaline was sourcing through my body. Chase was going down. Yeah sure, I killed his mate, but if he wasn't such a huge ass to me then that wouldn't have happened, right?

He could have been nice to me and then he could have been happy with the blonde bimbo.

After I changed into wolf form, I charged at him, hopping over my mate unconscious form.

I went for an attack, but he dodged me. We continued dodging each others attacks for awhile. Until I got an upper hand when he tripped over himself. I bite his face, blood pouring from his eye.

Blood went into his nose and he made a wheezing sound. I took this advantage and bit his leg. He howled out in pain. I hadn't expected it when he bit my paw.

Tears were threatening to pour from my eyes. I launched my body at him in attempt to knock him down. To no avail, I dug my nails into his back. Biting his neck, he tried to wiggle me off.

I bit harder and harder.

When his legs finally buckled from extreme blood loss, I got off him. He was too weak to get up.

How I defeated the alpha was astonishing to me. I walked around him to see him glaring at me. His body changed back to human form, his wolf leaving him to heal.

"You won't win." He sneered in a croaky voice. I changed back when he said that.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "This is not about winning, chase. It is about you being too much of an asshole to realize you destroyed me. Haven't you ever thought you were the reason your mate died? You provoked me! Yes I am to blame for it but you have just as much of a part in it as I do!"

"Your a bitch! I don't know why I ever dated you! Your a whore!"

That hurt. Pushing the insult away, I was fed up with him. I began to walk away to my mate, only to see he wasn't there.

I turned around back to chase, just in time to see Carter pulling his head off. With his bare hands, he threw it next to the bloody body.

My eyes immediately found Carters.

I did an intake of breath, before I ran to Carter as he enveloped me in his arms.
