A year later ..... Nica and Alette are now both adult birds . they had a wonderful life with Maria. As they are now full grown , healthy , happy , and beautiful birds.
Right now , they were flying around the jungle happily as Maria smiles at them from down below. She realizes they are grown now and they should be free on their own. Nica and Alette return. Nica landed on Maria's finger , and Alette landed on her shoulder. Making Maria giggle a bit. Nica & Alette smile brightly.
Maria- Veronica. Alette ?
They chirp curiously.
Maria- Well.... You're grown now. So.... Will you guys be alright on your own ?
They chirp questioningly .
Maria- Well. You guys are grown and you two seemed happy in the jungle.
They looked away from her sadly.
Maria-( smiles sadly ) I know. I know. But even though I let you two go , I'll still always love you. Do you trust me.
Alette and Nica hesitated for a moment then they chirped sadly and happily.
Maria- I knew it. I'll never forget you two.
They snuggled her a bit before flying off. Nica looks back at Maria one more time before flying off.
Nica- I'll miss ya , Maria.
She flies away...
