Nicki and I decided that we should start our tutorials from the very basics.
So in this chapter, I will be introducing the app Over to you and it's tools.

So first of all, when you click that '+' sign to create a new graphic, make sure to set the dimensions to 512 x 800.
That is the normal size for wattpad covers.

This is the screen you will see when a new project opens up.
So one of the reasons why I love Over is because of it's simplicity. Anyone can easily guide their way through it.
There aren't that many buttons but when you learn to bend all of them to your will, you can get great results!
A side note: I DO NOT have the Pro version (I'm broke) so everything that I'll be showing you can be done with the free version.
1. Image Button (left one on the bottom)
This is usually the first thing that I press when I open a new project. Here you can choose a background from your camera roll and start your graphic.
2. Text Button (second one on the bottom row)
Here is where the heart of your typography lies. You can add texts and choose your desired font. I will show you how to add different fonts to your collection in upcoming chapters.
3. Fancy Stuff Button (third one on the bottom row)
I usually don't use this tool. It contains useful graphic pieces that Over developers updates regularly. There are some great stuff and you can surf through them to pick out free graphics to use.
