Only one home

My room isn't extraordinary
It's quite boxy, very ordinary
It has a single red bed and one fluffy pillow to go with it
I have a little teddy at the bottom
There's many books spread along the ground and over the shelves
All about romance of course
What more could I possibly need?

The kitchen isn't amazing
It's really tiny, very original
There's a fridge, freezer, microwave and cooker
They're all squished over to one side
The other side of the room
There's a table with four chairs huddled around
A vase with nothing in it on top
What more could I possibly need?

The sitting room isn't remarkable
It's relatively small, very typical
It has two sofas facing one TV
It has one chest filled with pictures of good times
One lamp above it shining
What more could I possibly need?

The bathroom isn't spectacular
It's truly miniature, very standard
One bathtub with a shower included
A toilet with a colourful lid
One sink with a bar of yellow soap
What more could I possibly need?

My home may be boxy, tiny, small and miniature
But I've lived here for as long as I can remember
It's the only home I've ever had
The only home I shall have
And I will live here until my dying days
